Lacoste was born in 1933 from René Lacoste, the French tennis player the press nicknamed the Crocodile, who won seven Grand Slam tournaments. His big contribution was putting the logo on the outside of the garment, something nobody did back then. The 3D version takes that idea one step further: the emblem is no longer flat-embroidered but raised.

Navy is the color most associated with the brand after white and works with denim, beige and gray. With shorts in summer and under an overshirt the rest of the year.
