NEW ERA BLACK 9FORTY LOS ANGELES DODGERS MLB WMNS TORT INFILL CAP

New Era 9FORTY Los Angeles Dodgers cap in black, from the women's line, with a tortoiseshell infill. Low unstructured profile, curved visor, adjustable back closure and the LA logo on the front.

The Los Angeles Dodgers carry one of the longest histories in MLB: born in Brooklyn, they moved to California in 1958 and their LA monogram is today one of the most worn sports emblems outside a stadium. The tortoise finish, borrowed from eyewear frames, replaces flat embroidery with a mottled infill in amber and brown tones.

That detail takes the cap out of the sports register and brings it closer to an accessory. On black, the tortoiseshell adds the only touch of color and works with a neutral outfit or denim.
