CAPSLAB PINK MARILYN DEAD STARS TRUCKER CAP

Pink Capslab trucker cap from the Dead Stars series dedicated to Marilyn Monroe, with her portrait embroidered on the front panel. Flat visor, mesh back and adjustable snapback closure.

Marilyn Monroe is still the most replicated pop icon of the 20th century: her image crossed film, art and fashion until it became a symbol in its own right, independent of the movies she made. Capslab's Dead Stars series takes that iconography of figures who are gone and brings it to the front embroidery under image license.

Pink is the color that best suits this portrait and pushes the cap toward a more Y2K than sporty vibe. With a white tee, light jeans and clean sneakers it's spot on, and it holds up well as the only pop of color in the outfit.
